Our aim is to introduce technology that makes patient treatment in hospitals safer and more efficient.
We also actively participate in national work within ICT in the health sector. Helse Vest IKT is 100% owned by Helse Vest RHF. Our customers are both the public hospitals in Helse Vest, and several private health service providers in the region.

The responsibility is both to offer new services and to ensure the operation of a large number of services. 25,000 colleagues and housands of patients depend on us to deliver and operate the system around the clock, all year round.

- Strategic ICT: Architecture and solution design, design-driven innovation
- Business development: Integration, development, test center, project management, technical project management.
- Service development: Journal system, clinical system, administrative system.
- Service production: Application operation, client operation, server and storage.
Staff functions within finance, administration, communication and HR is to ensure that our employees are get support on a daily basis.
Helse Vest IKT was established in 2004. In 2023 715 people work in our offices located from Førde to Bergen, to Haugesund and Stavanger. We also have smaller branch offices in Voss, Odda and Stord.
